Unwholly and Enshadowed were two of my most anticipated sequels and it feels strangely surreal to know that I now have them in my possession. I'll have to re-read Unwind before I start Unwholly though as I've forgotten quite a bit. Thanks to Atom for the review copy of Wolf Pact and Christy for urging me to buy Rot & Ruin!

Thanks to Strange Chemistry and NetGalley for Broken! It sounds fantastic and I am in love with the beautiful cover. I'm not so keen on the UK cover for Unspoken though, but I have been dying to read this book so a big thank you to Simon & Schuster UK for the review copy. And finally, thanks to the lovely Suzanne for my copy of Rapture that I won.

ReplyDeleteYou got some really awesome books this week Sam! Unwholly is seriously awesome! I do recommend that you reread Unwind first though, so that you can remember everything. I've heard fabulous things about Rot and Ruin, so I really need to get my hands on a copy of that one! It looks like an awesome zombie book. And Broken looks super interesting as well! I'm going to have to go and request that one from NetGalley.

I've always wanted to read Rot & Ruin...even though the cover scares me big-time >_< In the meantime, I'll be looking forward to hearing what cha think of it! ReplyDeleteUNWHOLLY! FINALLY! I need to do a reread of Unwind aswell; I remember the basics, but no doubt I've fogotten a lot. Probably the longest I've ever had to wait for a sequel! Can't wait to see what you think of Broken, Unspoken and Rot & Ruin, they all look amazing. Happy reading!

Awesome books, Sam! I have yet to read the first books, Unwind and Nevermore! They sound fantastic. I got Broken this week as well! It sounds beautifully creepy. I prefer the US cover for UNSPOKEN. Happy reading though! :D

I think the first book is called Nevermore? It sounds great too! And Rapture! The book was a very great conclusion to the Fallen series. I really enjoyed it :) I've been wanting to read Unspoken too! As for the cover, I think I prefer the US cover over the UK cover too.

I know what you mean about it feeling surreal. It seems like it took ages for Enshadowed to come out and now it's finally here. :) I can't wait to see what you think. I'm DYING to read it, especially now that I have a copy, but I'm trying to find a time when I don't have to worry about work or anyone getting in the way. lol I know I won't want to be interrupted.

You have UnWholly this week too! *squeals* I just read Unwind and loved it because it was so emotional and thought-provoking and well-written and phenomenal. :) Anyways, I look forward to seeing what you think of it. :) And you're right, the UK cover for Unspoken isn't quite as enthralling as the US cover... I'm also not a fan of how romantic it looks by the way the girl is clinging to the guy. Especially so since Unspoken isn't centered on the romantic aspect..

I'm kind of scared to read Unwholly because I just know it'll be depressing. I think I'll wait for your review. I was all excited about Enshadowed too, until I realized it ends with a cliffhanger. I have this huge problem with unnecessary cliffhangers so I'll just wait until all the books are out to read them.
