In My Mailbox (#8)

IMM is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren, where bloggers share the books they have received with other readers. Here is what I got this week: (click on the links for a description via Goodreads)

Borrowed

Chasing Brooklyn by Lisa Schroeder  (Thanks for the recommendation, Rachel!)

NetGalley

For Review

I am over the moon with the books I received this week, especially the NetGalley haul! I went a little crazy when I saw Macmillan Children's PG had put all those great titles up and I just had to request them all. Struck and The Raft are two in particular that I cannot wait to get started on. I've also finally grabbed a copy of Forbidden! I think I'm the only person left who hasn't read this book, but I am looking forward to finding out why everyone has nothing but good things to say about it. I'm also very much looking forward to starting Unravelling by Elizabeth Norris - that cover itself is a winner, but the description is amazing. I really hope it will live up to my expectations! :)

(And look! No freebies this week. I'm getting better at controlling myself. :D)

  8. WOW!! Sam, your mailbox for this week is so full of awesomeness!!! I'm almost as excited to read your reviews as I am excited to read those books -- because I know that your reviews will only make me more excited LOL! x) I want to read Struck and Of Poseidon so badly, and I'm hoping I can get my hands on Harbinger soon too! :)

AMAZING mailbox this week, Sam! And LOOOL that's the danger of e-books -- it's tempting to claim all the free ones. You're doing much better than I would if I had an e-reader! x) <3

  23. I am really, really looking forward to hearing what you think of Forbidden, Sam. It's a very polarizing book for sure.

And ugh, NetGalley has done NOTHING about my Macmillan requests. I will just have to live vicariously through you for the time being, hah. Happy reading!
