Only hours to go now before 2011 is officially over and I just wanted to wish my blog readers a Happy New Year! Hope everyone is looking forward to the fresh start and the tonnes of awesome books due to be released in 2012. I know I am. :)
2011 was an amazing year for me in terms of books. It was in 2011 that I decided to join Goodreads, a website I had spent admiring from afar, and discovered that I LOVED to talk about books. With other people! Very few of my friends and family actually share my obsession for reading, so it was AMAZING to meet other like-minded individuals who
did enjoy discussing books with me. And of course, I will remember 2011 as the year I started my blog. A huge thank you to everyone who has visited, commented on, and followed my blog. These first few weeks as a new book-blogger have been so much fun and I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for Realm of Fiction. :)
I will be going down to the River Thames this new year's eve to watch the London firework's display. Normally I just stick to watching the TV coverage, but I imagine it will be a whole lot more spectacular actually being there. And loud!
